Our Dad, airboat captain, Forrest E Orebaugh led the Gator Gal and the Myakka Maiden tours at the Myakka River State Park for 31 years.

After retiring from the Cincinnati Public Schools where he started as a biology teacher, Forrest continued to share his deep knowledge and love of nature while guiding over 25,000 park tours. He enjoyed interacting with park guests, who seemed to appreciate the humor he included with the facts. He will be missed!
